Anna Silk

Anna Silk is a Canadian actress who was born on January 31, 1974. She's most famous for her role as Bo from the Showcase TV series Lost Girl. Silk was made in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Silk is the daughter of Peter who was a scholar, and Ilkay Silk who is a renowned actress director producer playwright educator and Director of Drama in St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna remembers watching her mother at work and attending practice sessions for plays. Silk was featured in a variety of commercials in her early years as an infant. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Arts with a major in Theater from St. Thomas University in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas was involved in two early theater productions including Seven Menus (1997) and The Kitchen (1999). Silk has moved from Toronto in the fall of 1999 to Los Angeles California to pursue her acting career. Seth Cooperman was her future partner when she first began to meet him in 2007 at an actor's workshop at the Actors' Workshop in Los Angeles. In 2009, they were married civilly in December 2009. Once she was converted to Judaism They took their vows to each other again at the Jewish ceremony on the 10th of April 2011, in Fredericton. Silk gave birth to one son named Samuel Jerome Cooperman in May 2013. The second son of hers, Levi Aaron was born on the 13th of May in 2016. Silk is famous for her part on TV in the role of Cassidy Holland, in Being Erica. In 2009, she was nominated by the Gemini Awards. She was hired as Bo Dennis, the main character Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk became pregnant while filming the finale of season three. On January 6, 2013, she confirmed this for viewers to watch Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special. On June 4 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures announced the production start date for the fourth season. On the 20th of June 2013 Silk declared on Twitter she was getting ready to go back to the series. The character she played Bo along with Lauren (Zoie Palmer) as same-sex couples in the show Lost Girl was named one among its most cherished Television Couples in the year 2013 by CNN (Cable News Network) and voted the most popular TV Couple in 2013, by E! Entertainment Television. Silk is a popular show across social networks.
